This high city of Athens is no doubt the best of its kind in the world. Located on a 150 m tall rock, the sight from this beautiful place is magical. However, the amazing attractions are the archaeological remnants in the three hectare surface area. Though adding Acropolis in the list would be unfair as it consists of 21 historic sites including the legendary 2500 year old temple, “Parthenon” but the ancient Greek city as a whole definitely can’t be given a miss.
