Aminah - The Mother of Muhammad (peace be upon him)

Mother of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). She was the daughter of Wahb abu Abdumanaf from the clan of Bani Zuhr tribe of Quraysh. She was born in Medina. Her father Wahb was the ruler of a kind. His daughter received an excellent education. Aminah beauty and education had no equal among the Quraysh. She surpassed all the girls of the tribe of Quraysh and the nobility of origin.
When Amina was fourteen years old, she was sent to marry the most well-born young men of Quraysh, Abdullah bin Abdulmuttalib. The marriage was a very happy and harmonious. But it was short-lived. After a while, Abdullah, returning from Sham (city in Syria) with trade affairs, died in Medina at the age of twenty-five. Her husband's death was the collapse of the world of a young woman. Her only solace now remained an orphan, the son of Abdullah. The orphan was the last prophet of Allah, sent as a mercy to all the worlds, Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Now is the time of birth of the sun both worlds. April 20, 571, which coincided with the 12th day of the month Rabi'ul - Awwal, on Monday morning, the whole world is filled with light. The birth of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is very pleased to Aminah. Holding the infant to her breast, she was trying to forget about the experience grief.

At the birth of the Prophet (peace be upon him) his mother Aminah did not feel any pain or discomfort. If she was blessed the righteous Asiya, the wife of Pharaoh, and the virgin Mary, the mother of Isa, and helped all the angels of heaven. In her dream she heart the command to name the baby Muhammad. Mother of the future of the Prophet (peace be upon him) told about his birth: "When it came time to give birth, I heard a loud voice. I started to shake. Then I saw a white bird she flew to me and held me wings. After this fear and trembling passed. I badly wanted to drink. I'm all burned. I saw a close vessel with white as milk, sherbet (drink). I was given this sherbet, and I drank it. It was sweeter than honey and cool. As soon as I drank, thirst immediately disappeared. Then I saw the light, my whole house lighted so that I did not see anything other than the light. Then I saw a lot of women. All of them were high, and their faces shone like the sun. Surrounding me, they waited on me ... Then my eyes the veil was lifted. I saw the earth from east to west. I've seen three banner. One of them waved to the East, another to the West, and the third over the Kaaba. Around gathered many angels. And as soon as Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born, he did prostration and raised index finger".
Aunt of the Prophet (peace be upon him) Safia told about his birth as follows: "At the birth of Muhammad (peace be upon him), the whole world was flooded with light. As he appeared, he made sajda (prostration). And he raised his head, clearly said: "There is no god but Allah, I am the Messenger of Allah". When I wanted to wash him, I was told: "We sent him washed". He appeared with cut the umbilical cord and the foreskin. When I wished to swaddle him, I saw his back birthmark. And it was visible inscription: "There is no God but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah!" Immediately after birth, making sajda, he said something in a whisper. When I brought ear to hear what he was saying, I heard: "My community, my Ummah!" Aminah is no longer married. When she was 20 years old, coming back after visiting the grave of Abdullah, she dies in a place Abwa that on the road between Medina and Mecca. There she was buried. Poet perfectly conveys this in verse:
"Oh, the one who rests in Abwa,
The most beautiful of all the world,
Bloomed in your garden rose ... "
Muhammad (peace be upon him) was only six years old. In the last moments of her life, holding her baby to her breast, Aminah said: "Every living dies, everything new gets old, old leaves, and I will die one day. But the name given birth is pure and good child will never die..." Saying, she closed her eyes for this perishable world. Now left alone, and without mother, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) returned back to Mecca with the servant Umm Ayman, accompanying them on a trip. And in these wreath fate lurked a lot of wisdom. The grandfather took him into care, and then - his uncle.
The father and mother of the Prophet (peace be upon him) followed religion of Ibrahim (alayhis salaam). They were believers. Islamic scholars say that his parents were resurrected to hear and accept the word of monotheism, and thus entered the Ummah of Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The mother of the Prophet (peace be upon him) takes a special place in the history of Islam. She was awarded this honor, is not honored by any other woman, namely, to give birth to the light of the last Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) sent as a mercy for all the worlds.
